How rankings are earned
Rankings come from a published rubric, applied the same way to every listing, and nothing else. No listing can pay to move up, and no listing can pay to keep a competitor down. A business that’s listed here can flag and correct factual errors on its own profile: wrong phone number, outdated address, incorrect hours, that sort of thing. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its ranking position. Those stay tied to the underlying data, refreshed on our schedule, not on request.
Sponsorship, when it appears
